YEAR VISITED: 2016 & 2020

FAVORITE CITIES AND EXPERIENCES: In 2016 Jill and I enjoyed a day long road trip that started in New York and ended in Hanover, New Hampshire. The last hour of our excursion followed the Connecticut River along I-91. The interstate divides beautiful Vermont from New Hampshire and I remember us pulling off at a handful of viewpoint/pull outs. While our only substantial stop in New Hampshire was in the town of Hanover, I fell in love with the natural beauty of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. If we were ever to move, these three eastern seaboard states would be high on our list.
STADIUMS AND/OR SPORTING EVENTS: We have not attended any sporting events in New Hampshire.
ADVENTURE(S): In 2020, while on our 37 state road trip, the family drove from Hanover to Portland, Maine. The drive was three hours but we managed to drive across the entire width of the state. We mainly stayed on the interstate, but we passed exits for Concord, Manchester, and Portsmouth.
NOTABLE DESTINATIONS & STOPS: While not a predetermined stop, in both 2016 and 2020 Dartmouth College worked out as a stop.

Dartmouth is the 9th oldest University in America. It is also a member of the famed Ivy League and was the inspiration for the movie Animal House. We have walked a majority of the campus, shopped at the bookstore, and driven through multiple neighborhoods.

Both times we have absolutely fallen in love with the charming town of Hanover.
